Though any small samples can be lit, from leaves and insects to stamps and fabrics. The obvious method of lighting a gemstone is to hold the gemstone (in a stone holder) in one hand and hold a torch in the other hand, but you should also light it from underneath (which gives a totally different view). The easiest way to do this is to place it over the light source on a
