The 3" long, slightly crinkled vegetables is excellent for deep frying and stir fries. The underripe green peppers have a mild sweet peppers with a hint of spice, while the red have a sweeter and more complex flavor. Best if grown in full sun and rich, moist, acidic well drained soils. Shishito peppers have good disease resistance.
