Those newfangled SD cards are the size of a postage stamp and way too easy to lose

It's very light (as you might have guessed) but it's also pretty solid- rigid enough for anything short of medium format

though it'll will only autofocus with AF-S types

So, it's not perfect but it's been film tested, and it works well, and that ain't bad. One of the best point and shoots ever made.
