The fragrant pink and white flowers bloom in winter. The fruits mature to a pale yellow when fully ripe, and the pulp pearls have a juicy burst that tastes similar to key lime. Grows best in full sun and sandy to loamy well drained acidic soils. Cannot tolerate frost. Doesn't ripen well
