Between a Benjamins rehearsal weekend, a Die Nerven tour and the first Beatsteaks demos, Julian and Thomas added another day, wrote and recorded two songs. Two bass riffs and 10 minute jams each became two songs: Event and Is it easier. Lyrically it is short, ambivalent and comes from the heart. The instruments are correspondingly sparse: bass, drums, guitar and the synthesizer. For the dreamed of maxi single at 45 revolutions
